Hello.

My name is Zach Statler, and I am a painter. I got my BFA from NYU Steinhardt in 2012, with a focus in painting, and I have been creating art since then in my studio. I am currently in graduate school getting my Masters in Psychology.

I am inspired by the subjective human experience, the nature of consciousness, and the intense beauty of our universe. I find lengthy artist statements distasteful because art, by its very nature, is a discussion not a monologue. If you wish to contact me and have a conversation, I can assure you that I will be more than responsive. Indeed, nothing would make me happier!
